God is worshiped through songs and hymns. Even a child begins to learn with nursery rhymes. It has the most important quality of being able to act as a bridge on which humanity meets.

Playing a musical instrument is a special and unique hobby which is beyond compare. It   brings out the creativity of an individual and compels in self expression. Playing an instrument can help one in getting in touch with a new side to his personality. It brings out the creativity of any human being and frees the soul. Many people who play musical instruments have learnt them in their childhood. At the same time, there are quite a few who learn instruments much later in life. The ordinary perception that it is impossible to learn an instrument for an adult is nothing more than a myth. Any person can learn any instrument at any time. Dancing to Music

Dancing to music go together like salt is to pepper while , music is most often described as something which is emotionally and spiritually moving. Whether it is listening, composing or playing music, it has a strong effect on the inner being of humans. While music is of an antique origin, so is dancing. Ever since there has been music, people have loved dancing in harmony with it. They both complement each other perfectly. Music is even more potent and forceful when accompanied with dancing. Music is liked in forms and methods. Where one may like playing, other may prefer to listen. In the same manner, music moves each individual in a unique and singular manner. African music

The African music traditional  music or modern is one of the richest music forms of the world. It is an excellent mix of the varied music forms from all over the world. African music has been derived from other music forms of different countries. For instance, the North African music is said to have been derived from the Greek and Roman music forms as once these countries had ruled Africa. There also has been a Middle Eastern  music influence on the African music. Similarly there are many other parts of the African country which were influenced by foreign countries and hence their music too. Some parts of the eastern Africa music and some offshore regions have music, which has been influenced by Arabic and Indian music. The African countries also have some music forms, which have been dedicated to dance forms like rumba and salsa. Modern African music is influenced through the whole African continent.

Rumba and salsa are very famous dance forms of Africa that were developed by African slaves who settled in the Latin America. One of the least famous music forms of Africa is the music of North Africa, which is under the strong influence of Egyptian music and the music of early Arabs. It is a contemporary music from which could not gain much popularity but is of much historic importance. It is also of great value for all those who value traditional music and its merits.
Another very popular music form of Africa is the Sub-Saharan African music form. It is considered to be one of the purest forms of the African music. This  African music form does not have any foreign influence on it like the other forms of the country. In the early times in Africa, when there was no reading and writing of scripts, music became the medium of conversing and exchanging feelings. Music was seen as a way to celebrate major milestones of a man’s life and to communicate.
